After making one's way to Mizu No Kuni, be it by docks or other source, one comes upon a majestic view. That is to say, whatever you can make out of the view past the mist. Many trails hidden within the deep forests lead to any number of villages, the capital, and to places of which one might never want to return, if they were ever to leave. Several trails, including one from Kirigakure, lead to the Onihayashi (Demon Forest). A forest dominated by genjutsu, it is said that those who enter are cursed never to leave. Rumors have led those in charge to believe it is a group on high ranking Shinobi who have the forest in their clutches. For those who make it onto a path that actually leads to Kirigakure, they eventually find themselves coming to the village gates. Though the mist around the village is so heavy, that one would walk into the gates before noticing they were there. Those who do find their eyesight well enough to spot the gates, would see them reaching up approximately eighty five feet high, and twenty seven feet wide. The doors have Kanji written on both of them, reading from top to bottom one would read: "Choushi, hakujou, kanojo gyoushi mune heki goshujin kontan...""Vein, cruel, her gaze will pierce your soul..."Those born and raised in Mizu No Kuni comprehend this saying all too well. Along with the gate, there are two ANBU members hidden in the mist shrouds as well, guarding the gates that hide Kirigakure.

.:[“What is not started today is never finished tomorrow”]:. Slowing down from his lunge and run state into a mere walk. The Mizukage would seemingly glide down the streets, he did so enjoy watching the villagers in their daily routines. His feet would draw him near the gates, the new gates that had taken months to completely restore. "I find her so... beautiful, attractive unto my heart. Mizu No Kuni in her purest, rawest form has shown to be such a voluptuous being."
The Mizukage would slowly recite. These words came naturally to him, as he always knew how extraordinary his country was. |
Approaching the guard shack, Hibiki would have something in mind, a trick up his sleeve of sorts. Not wanting so many questions to be asked, but still making it known where he was going, a simple genjutsu technique would suffice to accomplish both. Just as the jounin guards would stand to show respect, soon to be followed by questions of course; Hibiki would dissipate into sakura petals, of which would eventually vanish into the gates themselves. Hoping to leave a interesting impression on the guards, the Mizukage was now free to roam around his beautiful country for a while before having to return to his work... Another day's beauty is wilting before me, it seems. I fear the blossom of night blooms too soon. |
I strolled stoically out of the village gates, taking note of the sun as it began its descent into the far west. The glow was fast fading, it seemed, but then again, those days and the ones before had a tendency to blend together into an construable medley of monotony. As the moist air of Mizu no kuni permeated my being, I trudged through the landscape. Perchance my wanderings might take me to some place of interest? ~Exit~

Rinkotsu strolls up towards the massive gate, the entrance to Mizu. He watched as the guards slowly opened them and he heard the loud rumble as they slowly created a pathway out of the village. Rinkotsu then walked casually along, leaving his home in search of his leader. [Exit]

.:[“Whoever said anybody has a right to give up”]:. After leaving the young nin to their rest, the Mizukage would would once again walk through the village gates. This time merely waving his hands to shrug off the guards. Heading back to the tower, the Mizukage would let out a small sigh. His next few hours would be full of paperwork and getting b*tched at by his assistant. Oh the joy. .:[“The purpose of life is a life of purpose”]:. /Enter.
