History:
If evil were a lesser breed than justice, after all these years the righteous would have freed the world of sin.
Genshu Nori, was formed sometime during the first shinobi war. It originated as a faction of spies and assassins dedicated to espionage and counter-intelligence. Those who applied were screened carefully, then put through a extreme training process in which they were taught field tactics, solitary strategy, torture and interrogation techniques. The rigorous training was said to have been so severe that two thirds of those who went through it quit, half of them being severely injured with several dying either during the training or after from the serious injuries they sustained.
Those who were able to get passed the screening process, then were able to gain the accomplishment of completing the rigorous training became known as Genshu's, which meant "Pure Breeds". Those who obtained the title were immediately put into action as they were to do one of many jobs. Genshu were used either as spies, to infiltrate and gain information or to cause the other side damages. When not assigned to being a spy, Genshu were assigned to assassin duties. Whether assigned to make a kage disappear, secretly kill a informant, or otherwise cause the life of a important factor to cease.
Throughout the first war Genshu were widespread, which caused their own temporary downfall. Their training was short though drastic, and their numbers many, their coverage of countries wide. Many were captured, information was gathered from them, and they were killed. Eventually the few remaining Genshu would retreat into hiding and stay as such until the second war when they were needed again. When called upon, all but five remaining Genshu went into action to help those who were able to offer sufficient motive, whether it was money or power. Some were even promised positions in office, though even if they succeeded, they were always killed before claiming their reward.
The five remaining Genshu would remain hidden for years to come, each going their separate ways, but staying loyal to their code and one another. They would still meet when their schedules made it possible, and soon they would announce a agreement to take on protege's. Their pupils would learn of their ways, be taught of their history. After teaching them all that could be passed down from one generation to another, they would send them out into the world to continue on the works of the organization. The protege's went back to their rightful villages and went back to their normal lives, doing their Genshu work as called upon or felt the need.
As time continued on, the Genshu protege's eventually had children, and their own protege's to deal with. Once again the Genshu name was something to be both feared and respected. There were then rumors of Genshu being in Mist, Snow, Rain, Claw, and Tea. Those rumors were quickly disbanded, as there was no proof of their existence, there was more proof that the Genshu had actually faded away. This being the farthest thing from the truth, the Genshu had yet another meeting. This time around, they decided they would become their own group, though they would still do jobs for villages that offered enough incentive. But they would now answer only to themselves and their leader.
The older Genshu had died out, and now only the younger generation had survived the trials and tribulations that the organization had faced throughout generations. The current leader Kaito Michi lives within the water country. Though little is known about him, the other Genshu respect him and his leadership. With so little being known about the members, and the speculation that they had been run out or simply died under a rock, that Kaito has decided it has come time to be reborn. Kaito also had a meeting stating that the name should be changed with the generation, as they would now be named for their actions more than their status. Declaring the new name Genshu Nori, he decided that all members would be given a cloak and a mask to hide their identity from those who were not in their organization. With a new name, a new leader, a new perspective, and new gear, the Genshu were truly reborn into a new and powerful creature that would soon show it's head to the world once more...

Purpose:
The organization was founded to be a group of spies and assassins, which evolved into a very intelligent and tight-nit group of young terrorists of sorts. Their overall purpose is to bring terror to others, but for specific purposes.
○ Destruction ○
Taught in the ways of mass hysteria, Genshu are more than capable of entering a area, quickly causing as much destruction as possible, followed by retreating to a safe location.
○ Hysteria ○
The main purpose of the organization, to emotionally and mentally demolish a person, usually in large groups. To eradicate all happy feelings one might have and let their basic animalistic instincts consume them.
○ Self-preservation ○
After the suffering that the older generations of Genshu had gone through, the conservation of the organization is one of the top priorities.

Membership:
Members all come together under the belief that what they do is for the greater good, be that for the greater good of the world, or themselves at that particular point in time. Though the members never do anything that they feel would jeopardize humanity's growth to something better than it is now. They all gather at their base to relax, enjoy each others company and count their ryo that they have gathered since the last time they gathered.
Basically membership is like that of a family, though they are not all related, they still act as though they were first generation blood related. When working on a job, they depend on one another. Some call these members insane, or heartless, but most if not all are very ladylike as far as the women go and the men are gentlemen. Disturbed some may be, but they are normally respectable shinobi. It should also be noted that most are chaotic in nature and generally neutral in action. Thus one minute one might kill you, and the next another might sip tea with you.

Joining the Organization:
Joining such a group requires a tough screening process. To join one must be invited, and if invited, they are pointed to say yes, if one says no to a Gunshu invitation they are considered to be an enemy and will then be treated as one.
○ Invitation ○
Once someone has been investigated into and screened properly (spied upon), and have proven to be a worthy asset to the organization. A member will be sent with a invitation to approach the non member and invite them to join.
○ Obligation ○
Once invited, the non member is pushed to join. If they are still unsure or are hesitant (almost or already refuse) to agree to join, they are made aware that they have no choice. If they still persist in being problematic they are seen as a enemy and are immediately marked men in the organizations eyes.
○ Assessment ○
After a non member accepts a invitation and agrees to join, they are put through a test to see if they are truly worth of the Genshu name and the position it holds. This test may be something simple, or may be something as that of attacking a Kage and living to tell about it. It is up to the discretion of the leadership.

Size and Scope:
The current size of Genshu Nori as far as members go is four members including the leader. It is a org where small numbers are important, they will never desire to grow extremely large ( no more than 50 members at most), and will rely on it's low numbers to keep their name low key. As well as their theory is that such a small force of extreme power would be seen as striking more fear into the hearts of it's non members.

Structure & Advancement:
The Genshu are governed by both, a leader who makes all final decisions, but a structured ladder of which members may rise in ranking to a better position.
○ Shinichi ○
Meaning The New Truth, this is the leaders position. The leader rules with a iron fist, he is dominant over the others, but makes sure that they live well and comfortably as a reward for their obedience and accomplishments. The leader chooses who advances and what rank they will receive based on their loyalty and their actions within or for the organization.
○ Sada ○
Meaning Righteous, these are the leader's right hand men. They are vicious, and respectable. They do exactly as their leader says, carrying out his orders without question. These are also the mentors to the others in the groups, though they can be very deadly, they still look after their lesser ranked brethren.
○ Shotatsu ○
Meaning Little Dragon. The lesser of the high ranks, these are the brute strength, normally the ones sent as team leaders or on their own to cause destruction of some kind. No matter how one looks at these members, they are a brutal force to be reckoned with.
○ Harai ○
Meaning Exorcism. The highest of the lower rankings, these members are potentially the most dangerous as they are just coming into their own within the group and their mind state is wavering. Though they know what they are doing is for the greater good, members at these ranks are still very impressionable.
○ Mushin ○
Meaning No Mind. The mid ranking of the lower ranks. These members have made a small name for themselves, though they still have no real say in what goes on within the organization (hence the title "No Mind"), they are still seen as a asset to the group.
○ Mumyo ○
Meaning Anonymous. These are the newest members and those seen as having no real place among the rest of the members. They are properly titled for they are no-bodies within the org itself. They are not treating as outcasts, but merely have no say in anything that goes on and are reminded so.

Benefits:
○ Family ○
Though their ranks separate their living arrangements as well as determines how much time certain members spend together, they all develop a strong bond that is that of siblings. They each look after one another as well as protect each other.
○ Currency ○
The best way one could put it, is that money makes the world go 'round. Well to live and to get around with the lives that these unusual characters lead, money definitely is something they require. The higher the rank within the organization, the more money one will receive.
○ Authority ○
Those who have gained sufficient rank, have the right to command those of lower ranks within their abilities. Though higher ranks may intervene at any time, it is still a great asset to be able to command others at whim.
○ Accommodations ○
Along with food, income, kinship, and access to organization only items an jutsu, the members are granted housing. Though the lower ranking members are held to the dormitory-like areas, they are still provided with semi-luxurious housing in which to shelter and become home for them. While higher ranks are each given their own housing to relax and live in.

Disadvantages:
○ Infamy ○
If a member is ever found out to be a part of the Genshu Nori, one of two things will occur. Either the member will be taunted and called insane as the group is thought to be dead, or they will be despised and reported to the nearest law establishment as a war criminal.
○ Pupil ○
When one becomes a member of the organization, they are required to stay close to a member of the Shotatsu ranking until they learn the basics, then they will be assigned back to their normal ranking where they will stay until they are assigned to a higher ranking.
○ Excommunication ○
Outside of the organization the members are no one's, they, like the group itself, do not exist and so they must stay for the organization to keep it's standing. Though some find it difficult at first, the kinship within the group makes it much easier to handle.
○ Obedience ○
Those who are accepted are expected to comply with all orders of higher rankings. At any time if any member disobeys they orders of a higher rank, they will be reported to a member of the Sada ranking or to the leader directly.

Affiliations:
○ Amegakure ○
The organization defends and looks after the Rain country, simply because their primary base is located within it's borders. If Rain were to get heavily explored or attacked the Gunshu would risk exposure or destruction, thus they put in a slight effort to make sure the country is looked after.

Leaving the Organization:
Leaving the organization is not a acceptable option under no condition. Once a shinobi has joined the group, they have given their lives to it and are expected to put forth the dedication that they would give anything else that mattered to them. If at any time a member attempts to leave the organization they are treated like a missing nin from a village and are hunted down as ANBU would proceed to do so.
Those who track down a nin who had attempted to leave the group is to either immobilize them and return with them, or return with their head. If either of those two can not be accomplished they should not return unless holding some valuable information to cover for their failure.
